Royal Challengers Bangalore defeat Delhi Daredevils by 15 runs in a close contest on Saturday. The young wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant overcame personal tragedy to score a brilliant half century but could not help his team sail over the winning rope.

Earlier RCB, after chosing to bat first at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, managed to score 157 for the loss of 8 wickets. Kedar Jadhav’s scintillating 69 helped the hosts recover after a top order collapse early in the first innings.

Kedav Jadhav scored 69 and skipper Shane Watson 24 were the top scorers for RCB, while Chris Morris took three wickets at the expense of 21 runs for DD.
